2025 Wallace B. Smith Scholarship Application

Wallace B. Smith was president of Graceland University's sponsoring church, Community of Christ, from 1978 to 1996. The scholarships named in his honor go to rising high school seniors who embody the qualities of a servant leader while demonstrating a commitment to community not only at Graceland, but also within the Community of Christ church.
This scholarship has been made possible by the
Kathy & Joel Ross Inspired Leadership Fund
Completed applications are due at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday, July 16.
On Thursday, July 18, candidates will interview with the selection committee. Winners will be announced Friday morning at the morning assembly in the amphitheatre.

Interview with the selection committee.
Requirements:
Must be a member of Community of Christ.
Must be students who have finished their junior year of high school and entering their senior year.
Each year participants will be expected to participate in RELG 1700/3700 Missional Ministry and Leadership Practicum the other semester, a one-semester-hour experience.
Must be willing to participate in church leadership opportunities.
